This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Dr. Wound App (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information provided by Vendors (“you,” “your”) who register, list, and sell products such as compression stockings, ankle braces, wristbands, custom orthotics, and other medical or health-related accessories through the Dr. Wound App and website (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy is part of and subject to the Vendor Terms and Conditions and complies with applicable data protection and e-commerce laws, including:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011;
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act);
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (if applicable to international users); and
- Other relevant national and international privacy regulations.
By registering as a Vendor and using the Platform, you expressly agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Definitions
- “Vendor” refers to any individual or business entity registered to sell goods or services on the Dr. Wound App.
- “Personal Data” or “Personal Information” means any information that identifies or relates to an individual or business, such as name, email address, phone number, payment details, etc.
- “Processing” refers to any operation performed on data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion.
- “Sensitive Personal Data” includes financial information, government-issued IDs, and bank account details.

- Authorized representative’s name, contact details, and identification proof
- Business registration or license documents
- Tax or GST registration number
- Bank account or UPI details for settlement
b. Product and Transaction Information
- Product details, images, prices, and descriptions
- Order history, shipment, and return information
- Transaction amounts, payment dates, and commissions
c. Technical and Usage Data
- IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
- App usage statistics, login timestamps, and access logs
- Cookies or similar technologies used for analytics and security

- Emails, chats, and support communications with our Vendor Support Team

- Legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements
- Improving Vendor experience and platform functionality
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your data with:
- Buyers (Customers): To display your seller name, address (for shipping), product details, and necessary contact info.
- Payment Gateways and Financial Institutions: To facilitate secure payment settlements and refunds.
- Logistics and Delivery Partners: For pickup, delivery, and return of products.
- Third-Party Service Providers: IT hosting, analytics, advertising, or customer support partners—bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
- Regulatory and Law Enforcement Authorities: When required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Auditors or Legal Advisors: For compliance and dispute management.
We do not sell Vendor information to any third party.
6. Data Retention
- The Vendor account is active, or
- Required for business, legal, or regulatory purposes (typically 7 years for accounting/tax purposes).
After expiry, data is deleted or anonymized per industry standards.
7. Data Security
- Encrypted data storage and transmission (SSL/TLS)
- Multi-factor authentication for Vendor logins
- Restricted access to sensitive data
- Regular vulnerability assessments and security audits
However, you acknowledge that no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Vendor Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business and stock information
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection and medical product sale regulations
- Not list prohibited or counterfeit products
- Cooperate in legitimate product return requests (for size or defect issues only)
- Adhere to Dr. Wound App’s terms, policies, and operational guidelines
9. Order, Cancellation, and Return Policy
- No Order Cancellations: Once a customer places and confirms an order, cancellation by the user is not allowed.
- Return Policy: Returns are accepted only in the following cases:
- Wrong size received; or
- Verified manufacturing defect.
Vendors must accept and process such returns in compliance with platform policies.
- Refunds: Refunds to the customer will be initiated once the returned product passes quality inspection.
10. International Data Transfers
- The destination country provides adequate data protection; or
- Standard contractual clauses or similar legal mechanisms are used.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have rights to:
- Access your data and request a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities
- Lodge complaints with relevant Data Protection Authorities

All updates will be posted within the app and notified via email or dashboard alerts.
Continued use of the Vendor Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
